The animal farm, located within the high walls of the old Victorian Kitchen Garden was opened in 2010 and is an ongoing project. We currently have a variety of animals including pigs (with their new born babies!), sheep with their lambs, calves, ducks, chickens and more.

There is an admission fee of €1 per child and €2 per adult to cover the costs of feed and bedding. Children receive an activity booklet about the animals in the farm.

Saturday is 'muck-out' day where children are welcome into the pens to take part and pet the animals under supervision. Note for parents: old clothes and wellies are needed for this job!
